Call for Artists and Vendors for Enigokamigak PowwowThe Uniting General Council of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches and the Reformed Ecumenical Council invites you to submit your application for artist/vendor at the historic World Powwow being held on the banks of the Grand River at Ah-Nab-Awen Park in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. We expect to have the jury selections completed by April 17, 2010 and notification soon thereafter. Space is limited and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
If you are applying as an artist:
If you are applying as a vendor: Jury FeeFor those applying as an artist a one-time jury fee of $15.00 is required. Once the artist is accepted the jury fee becomes non-refundable. Make check payable to Wamimi Inc. Please make separate checks for both jury and booth fees. Booth FeesBooth fees for artist and vendors are $75.00. Once the artist or vendor is accepted the booth fee is non-refundable. Make check payable to Wamimi Inc.
Booth SpacesArtist: Booth spaces will be 10 ft. wide by 10 ft. deep. Due to underground sprinkling tent stakes will not be allowed to be put into the ground. Artists will be displaying in an area separate from vendors. To enhance the artist area, live music will be presented and bio on all artists will be handed out at the entrance to the area. Vendor: All vendors will be set up on a pedestrian bridge that spans the Grand River. Booth spaces 10 ft. wide by 10 ft. deep for canopies are available. Also 10 ft. wide by 5 ft. deep space without canopies are available. MailingsPlease enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of information and jury notification. Please ensure that there is sufficient postage for the return of you CD's, DVD's etc. We will return all incomplete applications using your envelope. Entries without envelopes or sufficient postage will not be notified. Juried ArtistsOnly original artwork done by the accepted artist may be displayed in your booth. Prints and reproductions are to be in flip bins only. Pre-manufactured items will not be allowed to be sold or displayed in the fine arts area. Violators will be escorted off the grounds. The WARC/REC art committee reserves the right to refuse the sale or display of items or services deemed to be culturally offensive.
